I picked up my first DSLR when I was in high school, and I’ve been photographing weddings for 7 years!

While most of my bookings are weddings, I love to shoot a whole variety of different things including engagements, proposals, just-for-funs, lifestyle portraits, families, product/business shoots, etc. I want to document ALL of your life adventures, big and small!

When I edit your photos I want to make sure every last one of them is PERFECT before delivering them to you. BUT I still work quickly to make sure you get them as soon as possible. You’ll receive your final gallery within 5-7 weeks of your wedding & within 2-3 weeks of your portrait shoot, depending on the time of year. I promise it’s worth the wait!

Every wedding day is different so I don’t have an EXACT number to give you, but a typical 8 hr wedding will usually be at least 350 photos, and engagement shoots will usually be at least 35.

I believe that one of the big reasons you’re hiring me is for my creative vision and editing style as an artist, which is why I don’t deliver raw/unedited images. I promise I will deliver all the BEST photos and won’t let you miss out on any memories! Believe me, you don’t want the raw images- they are HUGE files and look unfinished.

Heck yes! I have photographed weddings all over the place and am just a plane ride away. Depending on your location, extra fees may apply to cover travel and all that.

Not at all- I thrive on creativity and unique ideas, that’s what makes my work what it is! If you’ve got wild ideas, I’m your gal.

Go ahead and fill out this contact form, and I will send you a pdf with all the info! Once you’ve chosen a collection, there will be a contract for you to sign and a 30% deposit to hold your date and seal the deal. The final 70% will be due 2 weeks before your wedding.

Absolutely! It’s very important to me to get to know my couples before we do a shoot together. I love tea, cheesecake, mochi, pizza…. let’s get together and have something yummy!

Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. I’m here to help direct you and make you feel totally comfortable! You’ll be a natural in no time, I promise.

I’ve got a helpful guide for all of my couples and clients so they can know what to expect at the shoot and get a good idea of what locations work well / what sort of outfits look best in front of the camera. I’m also down to take a look at your outfits and help you decide!

For most weddings I would definitely recommend choosing two photographers. Having a second shooter helps me stay organized and sharp, and helps you with scheduling your wedding photos (we can be two places at once). Plus, you will receive more images documenting more angles and moments. It’s a win all around.

My husband shoots with me 90% of the time! Fun fact, we actually sort of met and bonded over a love of photography- before we started dating we would stay up late editing photos together & sharing editing techniques.

Always. I want to give my clients the best possible experience and that includes being prepared for every situation & keeping your photos safe no matter what.

Yes I do! I HIGHLY recommend getting your beautiful photographs into tangible frames and books so they don’t just sit on your computer. You can order high quality prints and albums with any of the wedding collections I offer. I have a background in graphic design so I hand-design each album layout and I use a professional printer through my business.

I don’t usually allow for split coverage during a wedding day, because even if you don’t need my services for a couple of hours, my time is still technically being used as I don’t have access to my studio to get any separate work done. A break in the wedding day schedule is often a good opportunity to photograph your ceremony or reception details though, so message me and we will talk about your schedule.

Unless there is a very specific reason why I need to see the venue beforehand, I do not typically do walkthroughs since that is an extra time commitment not accounted for in my wedding collections. But don’t worry- I show up early on every wedding day to have a look around. Almost every wedding I shoot is at a new venue and over the years I have learned to think quickly on my feet and find the best light possible.

Amy is so talented! On our wedding day she and her husband were professional, calm, light hearted and fun. She made us, along with our family and friends, feel comfortable with the photo taking process!
